Job Specification
• To have ownership and responsibility for a team of people who administer a portfolio of trusts, foundations and companies. Trusts may be linked to underlying companies, or companies may be managed at the direction of the beneficial owner(s);
• Responsibility for the mentoring and training of your team, and ensuring a four-eye principle is applied;
• Personal Development: ensure continual update in professional knowledge;
• Acting as a channel of communication for upward and downward feedback;
• To build relationships with intermediaries, third parties and identified key client contacts so as to be seen as the first point of contact. To be looking at other opportunities and services which we could provide to the client;
• Effective management of working capital requirements of the business, including WIP management including recoverability, billing, prompt fee collection, and effective management of staff productivity;
• Develop excellent client relationships fostering client retention and referrals leading to new business;
• Meet business targets as established within the risk framework;
• Maintain awareness of risks involved in administration activity and clearly understand risks involved in activities carried out and with respect to own client portfolio;
• To assist with the whole client acceptance process, including involvement at a client enquiry stage, and discussion with superiors on the client acceptance considerations,
• Monitoring and ensuring the team comply with Policies and Procedures of the Company. Ensuring relevant KPI’s are within defined limits and monitored on a regular basis, to protect our reputation
• Responsibility for maintaining data integrity
• Proactively identify existing and emerging risks in client portfolio
• Responsibility, in liaison with a Director, for our relationships with clients within portfolio.
• Demonstrate the ability to create, monitor and maintain effective communication links with clients.
• Be proactive in handling clients, regularly contacting them to maintain and build relationships.
• Manage client expectations and meet or exceed them
• Build strong and lasting relationships, through demonstration of competence, efficiency and knowledge.
• Demonstrate understanding of clients’ needs and issues.
• Actively encourage maintenance of high client service standards and monitor output to ensure consistent quality.
Skills Required
• To hold a professional qualification recognised by the JFSC.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of trust and company administration.
• Previous experience of working within trust and company business.
• The ability to identify and analyse issues, develop solutions, with the ability to motivate the team, initiate and manage change.
• Proven knowledge of appropriate Jersey legislation and regulation and the ability to demonstrate both compliance, risk and audit awareness.
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly and technical language.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Experience of managing and/or assisting in the management of a team.
• Act as a role model for other team members and others within the business.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.

• Broad knowledge of other offshore jurisdictions
